We learnt about a lot of fascinating stuff in biology. A project we did last quarter was presenting out current event papers in a slide show presentation and connecting it to our lesson. I choose 3D BioPrinting as my topic because it related to our lesson at the time because we were talking about antibiotics and different types of medicine.

We also learnt about the eukaryotic animal cell and plant cell. The animal cell carries out all the processes of the body which includes producing energy and storing it, making proteins which are molecules which have roles in metabolism, transportation of other molecules and DNA replication. A plant cell by its rigid cell wall and by the fact that it contains a fluid-filled space known as a vacuole. Unlike animals, plants aren't able to excrete excess water, which means that sometimes the fluid pressure inside their cells gets pretty high.
